A Guide to Camp America: All things Travel
The way that Camp America allows you to travel and see America in ways you've never seen before is the main reason as to why so many people sign up for it. From New York to Miami, LA to San Francisco and much much more the sights you can see are endless. This blog post will focus on all things travel and will give some top tips regarding money, places and top tips for travellers.
Money
Money can be a stress on anyone's minds and it can be even more stressful when away from home as the accessibility of a bank is taken away. The estimated cost of signing up for Camp America is £1000 and having money to go over with is necessary as the wages you get are like pennies every hour. Before you go I would recommend getting travel money cards such as Monzo and Revolut, they are so useful and are accepted in most places. Alongside this I would also have some cash for days off etc, it can be dangerous carrying around a lot of cash therefore i would recommend about $250-300 whilst entering the US. At camp many parents tips and therefore it will allow you to keep on top of funds. For travelling I would recommend around £700-£1000 depending on what you are doing afterwards and the method of transport you are taking as you will also have your wage on top of this too.
Places
Before I went I had no idea what my travel plans would be at all and went with no set plan as you mostly plan it once your over their with the people you meet. I went to New York, Washington DC, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Boston. Each of these places could have their own individual posts with tips but it is completely up to what you prefer as a person. I couldn't recommend Boston enough, it was my favourite place out of all and I will without a doubt be going back. If you are craving a beach holiday some of my friends done Miami and Hawaii which also looked unreal and they couldn't recommend it enough.
Top 5 Tips for Travelling

Thank You so much for all the help on my 5 blog posts, it is so appreciated and will help me a lot with my uni report. Hopefully they gave an insight into what Camp America is like and is helpful in more ways than one.
